Being a volunteer at YWCA has been a wonderful and rewarding experience. I have been able to teach adults new skills and watch them grow, but I’ve learned even more from them teaching me about their perspectives and experiences. The YWCA program makes adult education accessible to those in need and to those who just want to level up their lives and achieve new goals like reading, getting their GED, or just refining workplace skills. I’ve really enjoyed my time and am grateful to be part of the YWCA community.
