Please join us on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at the True Reformer Building, 1200 U Street, as we kickoff our 2020 Courageous Conversation series with “How Can We Support Ourselves and Each Other While Fighting Injustice: Strategies for Self-Care.”
As we start off the new year, this dialogue will be a space for participants to reflect on how they have fought injustice in the past year and what they hope it will look like in 2020. All will have a chance to share tools, stories, strategies and accountability measures for the year.

About Courageous Conversations:
This event is part of the YWCA National Capital Area’s series of community-based discussions called Courageous Conversations. Since 2018, these facilitator-led conversations have explored the dynamics of race, bias, gender, and inequity in a unique community-driven way, empowering people to take an active role in dismantling racism, demanding equity, and standing up for justice. Now more than ever, we invite you to join us for these dynamic community events as we believe we are stronger together in the work to eliminate racism and empower women.
Please join us. Share and learn from your neighbors.
