Today is National Voter Registration Day, a day each year when organizations around the country encourage people to get registered to vote. It is more important than ever to ensure fair and equal access to the ballot box as communities across the country continue to face legislation that blocks their ability to vote freely. Every person matters and every vote counts.
Here are 3 easy ways to support our Get Out The Vote efforts today:
- Join us from 1-5 pm TODAY at the University of the District Columbia’s student center as we educate voters in our community. Come say hello and take some voter registration forms to distribute to your neighbors.
- Already registered to vote? Check your voter registration and learn what is on the ballot! We all need to be #voteready on Election Day. Visit Vote411.org to check!
- Find 5 friends, family or community members and share with them voter registration information. We’ve made it easy. Share the special QR code/flyer below or access our special portal: https://vote.civicnation.org/
