Founded in 1905, the YWCA is a women's
membership movement nourished by its rich
history and strong community roots.
Strengthened by diversity, the Association
creates opportunities to educate, motivate,
and support women, children, and their
families to achieve their fullest potential.
The YWCA also promotes racial justice and
gender equity. These pages introduce you to
our many programs such as the
Washington Area Women in the Trades.

The YWCA National Capital Area greatly
appreciates your support.
